Orkney Library Birdwatching Kit
In collaboration with RSPB Orkney, Tim Dean and myself, they have put together these fabulous new 'Birdwatching Kits' for children. Each kit includes a rucksack (with cover) containing a pair of binoculars, an RSPB 'Love Nature' Booklet, spotting sheets, coloured pencils and colouring sheets and a copy of the Orkney Book of Birds.
The response since launching them at the beginning of the month has been terrific with all kits loaned within a couple of days and the feedback has been hugely encouraging. We're really pleased to have been able to help out! They have six kits available which can be reserved by contacting the library.
