new miniature paintings - fresh off the easel

These are my latest miniature paintings which will be making their way to the Hilliard Society 40th Anniversary Exhibition very soon! 

The exhibition runs from Saturday 11th June until Saturday 18th June 2022 at Wells Town Hall in Somerset and, if you are an artist who would like to submit work, you have until April 8th to enter (You can find all the information you need here). 

This year, in addition to the Exhibition of hundreds of miniature artworks from some of the finest artists around the world, there will also be a '40th Anniversary Ruby Raffle' with the chance to win one of the 50 or so paintings donated by our members, with all proceeds going to charity. The Society will also be publishing a perpetual Calendar, featuring artwork by our members past and present, with a percentage going to charity. Plus there will once again be the opportunity to take part in a full day Miniature Painting Workshop with tuition from some of our most experienced artists (booking needed in advance). Mini Masters is also back, an educational project to encourage children to learn about miniature art and have a go themselves. 

As always, if you are unable to attend in person you will still be able to enjoy (and purchase!) the full exhibition online as well as buying tickets for our raffle. Full details will be on the Hilliard Society website in the coming weeks.
