MPSGS - international exhibition of miniature art, washington, usa

My entries in the 90th Anniversary MPSGS Exhibition

November 18, 2023 - January 13, 2024
Strathmore Mansion, Rockville, MD

"The objective of The Miniature Painters, Sculptors & Gravers Society of Washington, D.C. (MPSGS) is to encourage and stimulate interest among artists and the public in the beautiful forms of miniature art".

There will be over 675 miniature artworks in the show and the public opening (at Strathmore Mansion in Rockville, MD) is Saturday November 18th 2023, from 2-4 pm. If you are able to visit in person you will be sure of a real treat! If not, all artwork images will be viewable on the site mpsgs.org by mid-October.

It has been seven years since I was last able to submit works for this wonderful show, and I was delighted to be told that my painting of a Dipper was awarded third place in the Landscape category.

The setting for this painting is one of the many glorious forest streams leading into the Rivière D'Argent in Huelgoat, France.
