One of the best things about visiting a miniature
exhibition is the opportunity to study the paintings in great detail through a
magnifying glass (and seeing them in real life is infinitely better than viewing
them on the internet). While it isn't essential to enjoy them, one of the joys
of miniature art is that it draws you in to its own little world so the
