Flower paintings, pet portraits and
wildlife art created especially for you by professional watercolour artist Tracy
Hall. You can commission a
special portrait of a pet, a favourite animal or bird, a painting of flowers or
many other subjects, both private and commercial commissions are welcome. Ordering is simple, just send a photo or email to
start the ball rolling - or contact me for advice if you have any questions. Please note I am currently not accepting
private commissions until late 2010.
I now have a special
section of the website devoted to Pet Portraits, where you will find
lots of examples, detailed information about ordering your pet portrait
and helpful advice. Gift certificates are also available.
I work from both
photographs and life for my botanical paintings. If there is a particular
flower or flowers you would like in the painting just let me know - if it
is one I don't have I can often find it in a specialist nursery.
I also accept commissions for wildlife paintings and farm animals. Any subject or setting is possible; you may have your own
photos or I can locate suitable
reference material for the project.
If you are interested in using my existing artwork on your products or
commissioning illustrations please get in touch and I will let
you know if it is something I can do for you.
Please get in touch for an
initial chat without obligation to discuss your commission. If you have never
commissioned a painting please don't worry as I will be happy to help with
anything you are unsure of and answer any questions you may have.
PRICE:
I will be able to give you a quote for the commission once I have some
basic information from you. My prices currently
range from £250 to £2000 but the final cost is influenced by several factors - size, subject(s),
background, quality of photos (pet portrait), or sourcing of reference etc. If you have a specific budget to work to please let me
know and I will be happy to advise accordingly. This is provided free of charge and with no obligation
so please don't worry about asking! If you have a photo (s) of your
chosen subject please send them by mail or email. If you do not have
suitable photographs I may be able to help depending on the subject. If you
decide to go ahead with the commission, I ask for a 25% non-returnable deposit
at the time of order
with the balance due on completion. This secures you place in my work schedule
and allows me to spend time on preparation.
THE PAINTING: After our initial chat about your
ideas and requirements, I will send you a sketch of the layout for your approval
before I begin the painting and on or near completion I will send you a printed
copy or e-mail attachment of the painting for final approval. If you would like
to see updates of the painting in progress I will be happy to do this too. While
I stand by the quality of my work you are under no obligation to accept the
final painting.
Original artwork is supplied
unframed and payment can be made by Paypal (securely online), by cheque or bank transfer in
GB pounds. You can pay by several pre-arranged instalments if you prefer, and
the painting will be despatched when the final payment is made and cleared.
COPYRIGHT: Please note that I retain full
rights, including copyright and reproduction rights, in all my artwork, commissioned or otherwise.
This includes paintings completed
from reference photos you supply. Artwork is commissioned for personal use only and may not be used for financial gain or reproduced
in any way without my written permission. (Full details of my terms and
conditions are supplied with your quote). I am happy to offer a fine art print
and greeting card service of your commission if you would like to purchase these as well. Out of courtesy I choose not to make
prints of, or to license, privately commissioned pet, people or house portraits without consulting the
customer first - and names of people or private residences are never disclosed.

the recipient to be involved in the choice, or if you have left it a little late
to get the painting done in time for a special date.
