Poppies, Irises, Roses, orchids......Whatever
your favourite flower or plant, I will be delighted to paint it for
you. I work from both
photographs and life for my botanical paintings, and if
there is a particular flower or flowers you would like in the painting
just let me know. If you would like to commission a flower
painting similar to one that is already sold, this is often
possible as well. I have a huge photo reference of garden and
wild flowers together with house plants, but
you can send your own photos if you prefer or give me the name of the
flower which enables me to find the plant from a nursery and work from
life - we have a lovely garden as a result of this!
I accept commissions for custom wildlife paintings of animals and
birds - just ask! Any subject or setting is possible, and you may have your own
photos that you would like me to use for reference or I can locate suitable
reference material for the project.
I also do paintings of Farm Animals - sheep, cattle, poultry, pigs,
goats....once again, please get in touch with details of your requirements for
a quote without obligation.
I also accept commissions for other subjects
periodically - just get in touch with details of what you would like and I will
let you know if it is something I can do for you. I have done portraits of
people, landscapes, houses, and natural history illustration.

commissioned a painting please don't worry as I will be happy to help with
anything you are unsure of and answer any questions you may have.
PRICE:
I will be able to give you a quote for the commission once I have some
basic information from you -the medium (painting or drawing), size, subject(s),
background etc. If you have a specific budget to work to please let me
know and I will be happy to advise on the choice of size and background etc
accordingly. This is provided free of charge and with no obligation
so please don't worry about asking!
If you have a photo (s) of your
chosen subject please send them by mail or email. If you do not have
suitable photographs I may be able to help depending on the subject. If you
decide to go ahead with the commission, I ask for a 25% non-returnable deposit
at the time of order
with the balance due on completion. This secures you place in my work schedule
and allows me to spend time on preparation.
THE PAINTING: After our initial chat about your
ideas and requirements, I will send you a sketch of the layout for your approval
before I begin the painting and on or near completion I will send you a printed
copy or e-mail attachment of the painting for final approval. If you would like
to see updates of the painting in progress I will be happy to do this too. While
I stand by the quality of my work you are under no obligation to accept the
final painting. Original artwork is supplied
unframed and payment can be made by Paypal (securely online), by cheque or bank transfer in
GB pounds. You can pay by several pre-arranged instalments if you prefer, and
the painting will be despatched when the final payment is made and cleared.

rights, including copyright and reproduction rights, in all my artwork, commissioned or otherwise.
Artwork is commissioned for personal useonly and may not be used for financial gain or reproduced
in any way without my written permission. (Full details of my terms and
conditions are supplied with your quote). I am happy to offer a fine art print
and greeting card service of your commission if you would like to purchase these as well. Out of courtesy I choose not to make
prints of, or to license, privately commissioned pet, people or house portraits without consulting the
customer first - and names of people or private residences are never disclosed.
Gift Certificates
are available if you would like to give the painting as a gift but would like
the recipient to be involved in the choice, or if you have left it a little late
to get the painting done in time for a special date.
